Amy and I went baby stuff shopping again.. This time we where trying to register for gifts and we got in to this big discussion in the store about these jumper things.. Apparently, it will retard your babies development, something about they can't see their feet? oh' and you have to limit their time in it to like a half an hour.. I don't know, she had a book in her hand and well she's way smarter than I am..2 degrees warmer today, but 0.2 MPG down. I don't know if I can afford this cold snap!!!
Wow, this is my 500th post... To some that's not many, but to me.. As you may be able to tell... I can hardly read and write.. and for the folks that may have forgotten, I have never read a book in my entire life, and I still got a college (not an "on-line" college) to give me a BS degree..
Today we bought a breast pump (Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump with Metro Bag) and I did better than I thought I would.. I didn't do as good at Pee in the Pod.. Ayway, these machines are weird.. Me being a guy I wanted to talk to the salesperson about RPM's and vareable speeds. The salesperson only pointed out the features like the little milk cooler, battery/car/plug-in, and fancey bag...
In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Thursday morning. The January 1 mishap apparently occurred after the male skier, 48, and a child boarded a high-speed lift in Vail's Blue Sky Basin. It appears that the chairlift's fold-down seat was somehow not in the lowered position, which caused the man to partially fall through the resulting gap. His right ski got jammed in the ascending chairlift, and that kept him upended since his boot never dislodged from its binding. As seen in the photos on the following pages (which were snapped by fellow skiers), the Skyline Express lift was stopped shortly after the pair's botched boarding resulted in the man dangling from the lift. The exposed skier was stuck for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel backed the lift up and successfully dislodged the unidentified man from the four-seat chair. In a statement released this afternoon, Vail Resorts, which operates the ski area, reported that the skier was not injured after being "suspended for approximately seven minutes." The press release did not explain how the mishap occurred, only that "the man was caught on the chair." 
While Amy and I where in Springfield, MO we fell in love with this coffee maker.. The Flavia "drink station". It makes a perfect hot cup of Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino's, Latia's, Tea's and just regular old coffee.Today in Springfield it was 77 degrees... Tomorrow Amy & I will be returning to MN and the 0 to -10 temps..
