Downloading some photos off of Grandma Lois's camera this evening we ran across these incriminating pics from the 4th of July 2010 holiday of Quincy swimming. Amy and I left Quincy with Grandma Lois and Mrs. Kay for the day while we golfed with Mr. Bob... Apparently, we forgot to bring Quincy's swim suit... I guess Mrs. Kay found one of Mr. Bob's old suits, from the 30's!!!!

This spring Rochester needed approval from the state to extend it's 1/2% sales tax. Surrounding communities don't like it because they feel they're forced to pay the tax without seeing a direct benefit for their town...
Well, I guess the answer was simple to Minnesota State Representative Tina Liebling....
If you own a local business you may want to sit down.....

Quincy had some liquid poo issues yesterday... So that means no school today... back to the old days...
First stop McD's for a hash brown and smoothie... then off to the big playground before the dirt bags get up..
Should be a fun day...

|Presidents motorcade... I guess a limo is too flashy for Minnesota...|
Quincy and I where taking Joey to the groomer today and the Presidents motorcade stopped us in our tracks. The Prez had a "Town Hall Meeting" in Cannon Falls, just north of Rochester.
Sadly, Quincy and Joey where not impressed.... Infact, that's Quincy picking his nose...
|Just a little more to go...|
These are photo's I took today of local businessman Jack Remick, one of the founders of Fastenal. You may remember back when I wasn't a S@HD I worked for Fastenal. Sometimes I reflect on why I enjoyed my career with Fastenal so much... Well, this photo sums it up.. Mr. Remick is worth millions and has been a major contributor to Rochester's success... Yet, he's not above put'n in a little sweat equity...
Basically, the attitude at Fastenal is everyone can do everything and no one is above anything. Heck, the CEO has a CDL license... He could drive one of inventory feeder semi trucks if it needed to be done.
Which leaves us with Mr. Remick, retired from the Board of Directors, out trimming some weeds because it's something that needs to be done... Tip of the Cap Sir...

Can you believe how retro blogging has become.... Just a few years ago this was social media.
Well, I'm trying to get my old blogging gang back together. I have a few committed but not all....
