Got Milk Machine?

Today we bought a breast pump (Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump with Metro Bag) and I did better than I thought I would.. I didn't do as good at Pee in the Pod.. Ayway, these machines are weird.. Me being a guy I wanted to talk to the salesperson about RPM's and vareable speeds. The salesperson only pointed out the features like the little milk cooler, battery/car/plug-in, and fancey bag...

I'm looking forward to tring it out myself.. I tried a manual one once (remember Tanya)..

Also, I wonder if you can make it into some type of drinking game machine for tailgate parties? After the babies done with it of course..

Tri-Poler????

In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Thursday morning. The January 1 mishap apparently occurred after the male skier, 48, and a child boarded a high-speed lift in Vail's Blue Sky Basin. It appears that the chairlift's fold-down seat was somehow not in the lowered position, which caused the man to partially fall through the resulting gap. His right ski got jammed in the ascending chairlift, and that kept him upended since his boot never dislodged from its binding. As seen in the photos on the following pages (which were snapped by fellow skiers), the Skyline Express lift was stopped shortly after the pair's botched boarding resulted in the man dangling from the lift. The exposed skier was stuck for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel backed the lift up and successfully dislodged the unidentified man from the four-seat chair. In a statement released this afternoon, Vail Resorts, which operates the ski area, reported that the skier was not injured after being "suspended for approximately seven minutes." The press release did not explain how the mishap occurred, only that "the man was caught on the chair."

Thanks Jim K. for the "heads up"....

Flavia Flav

While Amy and I where in Springfield, MO we fell in love with this coffee maker.. The Flavia "drink station". It makes a perfect hot cup of Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino's, Latia's, Tea's and just regular old coffee.

Big props to the Hartman's.. I had a minimum of 4 cups a day!!!

Get Downtown

Once again Amy and I had a great meal @ Chester's Kitchen & Bar. The food is terrific, they have a light menu that won't leave you hungry. Lots of choices..... And great bar.. Fun, clean and open late...

Also, great location for both lunch and dinner. Located downtown Rochester in the University Square over looking Peace Plaza and surrounded by plenty of shops and things to do.

So get downtown and support these business so that we can keep them...

Christmas Bogus

December 26: christmas bogus
Receiving nothing from your employer for Christmas.

Once again, my cheap boss Phil, gave us all a Christmas bogus.

This is today's term on urban dictionary. It hit home with me because, execpt for my time with my employer in Kalamazoo, I've never received anything from my supervisors. Not even a $1 Micky D's gift certificate....

However, selling nuts and bolts is a gift all in itself...

McBabie in the McOven

Well if you haven't heard the BIG news. Amy is pregnant with my baby.... This spring we will find out for sure when we will appear on Maury, but I think it's safe to say the baby is mine, and Amy's too.

The pic above was from the end of November @ 20 weeks. Amy was a little weirded out with how I got the camera in position but it was worth it.

Seriously, Amy has been doing great. She's only been a little tired, maybe I shouldn't have her shoveling snow, but I did promise her that when the baby comes the nanny will take over those chores.

Lucky for you I will be putting a lot of this kinda crap out there.. So hang on...
