Well, last Sunday was pretty nice out and Amy asked me if I was going to clean up the bike and put it up for sale... Since I speak fluent spouseeese. I washed up the bike and put it on http://www.craigslist.org/. I got a call 3 hours later and it was sold...


The sale went smooth!! Big thumbs up http://www.craigslist.org/... I'm glad I sold it but now my cylinder index is down by 2.. I did rush out and get a power washer. That's 1 cylinder, and 2 to go.. Yes the math is right. I'm going to be another year older in a couple of months and you can never be too prepared..

A Bar = gAy Bar?

I'm always tyring to support the local businesses.. I noticed that Rochester has a new bar downtown, next to Kathy's Pub.. I think it's called the A bar... My question is... does A mean gAy? Not that there's anything wrong with that... I went in with a friend, sadly the prettiest man I know... and noticed that it had that "feel"..

I was going over some pictures and I forgot about this one... This was taken on our last trip to Dallas. Throckmorton is the cross street in front of a gay bar called JR's in the gayborhood. You do remember the gayborhood..........

Some of you know why it's ironic that a gay bar is on a street named Throckmorton, you would be in the medical industry... For the rest of you.. Some dude did a study and determined that when a man experiences trauma to his body, his winier points to that side.. Normally, I don't listen to Amy's bla bla Ortho talk but this one stuck with me and when I saw the sign I had too...

I must qualify my lubricated state by saying we did have a couple hour limo ride from the wedding in La X to the reception in Rochester...

And yes they still talk to me................ Probably because of Amy, but they do talk to me tooo..

Rah Rah Sushi?

That's right! Rah Rah Rochester now has a sushi restaurant.... Sushi Itto. It's a chain, but it's sure beats Target's sushi...

Amy and went last week and had a good experience. Definitely Minnesota portions, a roll per person will satisfy and the bar is well stocked.

They have an awesome approach to hours of operation.. 7 days a week they open at 11am and close when people stop coming in. Clean, trendy,and customer friendly... Look out Rochester Magazine's Best of the Worst!!!!!

Oh, and it's across the street from Kathy's Pub.. A great place to start an evening on the town.. Wow, what a concept!!!

Keeping Dallas Pretentious

Amy and I went to Dallas this weekend for an event at the hospital where she did her fellowship. We got to see all of her fellow fellows and their families from last year as well as all of the staff Amy worked with. It was great to spend time with everyone and we look forward to doing it again...

Oh' THE "pretentious" HUMMER... Hertz has these new car rental categories.. The Hummer is in the prestige collection.. I think that's what the Kurt's (Dan & Dave) have used in the past...

Easter in FLA

Amy and I just got back from a trip visiting her parents in Naples, Florida. They winter in Naples and this is the first time in the 7 years we (Amy) has had the time, at that time of year, to visit them.

I typically HATE Florida, but Naples is very nice.. Clean! Well organized! Yep, I liked it...

We got in very late Thursday night.. via Ft. Lauderdale.. yes Ft. Lauderdale.. Friday, early, we went with Amy's parents (Paul & Claudia) and their friends Jim and Helen on a fishing trip.. The shady thing is that the fishing trip was a gift that Amy and her brother and sister got Paul for Christmas. Score for us....

We had a rainy day on Saturday, but it was warm and the rain was relaxing.

Sunday we went to the beach in the old part of Naples. This area has cool shops and big old beautiful beach homes.. We also got together for brunch with good friends of Paul and Claudia. Oh, and Sunday was sunny..

Like I said, Naples is pretty nice. We got to meet Amy's parents friends. Many we have known for years and some new ones.. I just hope 30 years from now Amy and I have the energy to enjoy retirement as much as the gang we hung out with for the weekend.
