College?
Wow... Have you estimated what it will cost for your children to go to college yet? Ouch!!! If Quincy goes to a state school we could expect to pay $50,000/year!!! Maybe Quincy will be an only child.... :)
I have big plans for Quincy in a nice state school.... or maybe I can "Home School" his college years... People do it K-12... Why not undergrad? I see it as an untapped resource here.. and I have plenty of experience in undergrad.....

Now I Remember
Everytime I think about a vanity plate I see something like this to
remind me why I don't have one....
The plate says UDLOSE... and it's on a Vette.. Nope, you can't get
more tacky than that..
Well, maybe if it said MKSMWET...

My work here is done.....
Pimp'n da Nobel Peace Prize Bling...
How would you characterize our President? President or Celebrity? He's Time Magazines 2008 Person of the Year, just won the Nobel Peace Prize, and probably has spent more time on primetime network TV than American Idol...
I have nothing against him and I'm not suggesting that he is responsible for all the hype.. It just concerns me that his pop icon status may diminish the respect of the position he holds..
A beaming President Barack Obama said Friday he was both honored and humbled to win the Nobel Peace Prize and would accept it as a "call to action" to work with other nations to solve the world's most pressing problems.
Obama told reporters in the White House Rose Garden that he wasn't sure he had done enough to earn the award, or deserved to be in the company of the "transformative figures" who had won it before him.
But, he said, "I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century."
Obama, 48, is the third U.S. president to win the prize while in office, after Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. Former President Jimmy Carter won the prize in 2002, more than two decades after he left office.

Gun for Hire...
FaVre says, It was never the money, the records, bla bla..... but $37 million later... He's still playing..
Also, he blubbers about how great the Packer organization has/was been/had been to him... but something changed... he realized he had a license to print money!!!
FYI... Viks fans.. If there's a better team next year with $14 million to offer.. I'm sure FaVre will have some reason to "re-re-retire"...
Hey... make hay while the sun shines...
Quincy doesn't cry this much.....

Make'n Whoopi, Not Whoopi Whoopi..
I love it when people like Whoopi Goldberg have a soap box like the View and don't take the 2 minutes of due diligence required to form and educated opinion, but it is our fault for giving "stars" that type of power..
Here's a copy of the court report from Roman Polanski's "rape" trial... I would say a drugged 13 year old involved with an adult in acts of sodomy, intercourse and other sexual acts should warrant our concern. Whoopi suggests, maybe that's more accepted in France.. Their society is different and we're trying to hold Roman accountable to an American standard......
Wow, and it took me a minute to find this... and I'm nobody... Well that's my 2 cents...
