Green Machine
I found this little jewel down here in Florida at Amy's folks retirement community. The first person I thought of was Rudi. He and Errin could really use an extra car and Rudi has a bit of a lead foot. Which this car could only benefit from. Not to mention it's "green" both color and e.... and living in East Minnie he will fit right in...

Got Gator?
I love it when a plan comes together...
I found a bar that serves gator. It was pretty good.. Tasted like grisselly chick... and it came with beer...

Gator Bait
Yesterday we went to Shark Valley in the Everglades National Park. It's a gator hot bed.. We had to see at least 100 gators. Today I'm hoping we go to a place that serves gator...

Winter Warm Up
We (Amy, me and baby Floyd) are in Naples, FL visiting Amy's folks. It's almost 80! and it was -2 in Minnie when we left... In fact, they where limiting the number of people on the jet bridge because it was so cold.
Oh and Amy suggested the convertable... It's a Mitu Spyder, ya kind of a chic car...
Dan Kurt must be in town because the one PT Cruzer convertable was already out.....

Take 5 or Stay Alive
Yesterday I was under the weather. I think it was because I had eaten a peanut butter breakfast bar. Ya! I know your about the whole recall thing but I thought these where safe because I had one out of the box before the recall without any issues. Well I guess that's was I get for being cheap.
Now! What do I do about these! I love TAKE 5 candy bars..... buttttt, they have peanut butter in them... and I don't think my emergency exits can handle a round two..

Brown Bag'n It...

If you do a little checking.. There seems to be a disproportionate number of pics of me "drunk" while wearing orange.... So, if you see me in orange.... get ready for some good times....
Sadly there aren't any pics of it but when I was given the key-to-the-city of Bruce Crossing, after a long night @ the Alaskan Connection.. I was wearing... yep ORANGE!!!!

No Enstein?
Amy and I went baby stuff shopping again.. This time we where trying to register for gifts and we got in to this big discussion in the store about these jumper things.. Apparently, it will retard your babies development, something about they can't see their feet? oh' and you have to limit their time in it to like a half an hour.. I don't know, she had a book in her hand and well she's way smarter than I am..I'm thinking if this kids jumping he's getting exercise and I have free hands for a beers... I think these jumpers are OK and what mommy doesn't know while she's at work an infant can't tell her... The thing says Enstein on it. Enstein was smart, right?
I am going to ask the Hoekzema's.. The Kurt's think Amy's nuts, and Beth is a real baby doctor..

Fabulous 500!!!
Wow, this is my 500th post... To some that's not many, but to me.. As you may be able to tell... I can hardly read and write.. and for the folks that may have forgotten, I have never read a book in my entire life, and I still got a college (not an "on-line" college) to give me a BS degree..Anyway, to the post....
My friend Nick forwarded this pic or a segway pushing a stroller.. I like that idea. I have had a similar idea where you would modify one of those remote control golf carts with a baby seat and camera on it. Then I could buzz "Floyd" around the neighborhood from the comfort of my own couch..
But Nick is more of the "outdoors" type. So I could see him suggesting that with a segway "I would be with the baby"...

Got Milk Machine?
Today we bought a breast pump (Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump with Metro Bag) and I did better than I thought I would.. I didn't do as good at Pee in the Pod.. Ayway, these machines are weird.. Me being a guy I wanted to talk to the salesperson about RPM's and vareable speeds. The salesperson only pointed out the features like the little milk cooler, battery/car/plug-in, and fancey bag...I'm looking forward to tring it out myself.. I tried a manual one once (remember Tanya)..
Also, I wonder if you can make it into some type of drinking game machine for tailgate parties? After the babies done with it of course..

Tri-Poler????
In a bizarre incident that will surely lead to litigation (or an out-of-court settlement), a skier at Colorado's ritzy Vail resort was left dangling upside down and pantsless from a chairlift last Thursday morning. The January 1 mishap apparently occurred after the male skier, 48, and a child boarded a high-speed lift in Vail's Blue Sky Basin. It appears that the chairlift's fold-down seat was somehow not in the lowered position, which caused the man to partially fall through the resulting gap. His right ski got jammed in the ascending chairlift, and that kept him upended since his boot never dislodged from its binding. As seen in the photos on the following pages (which were snapped by fellow skiers), the Skyline Express lift was stopped shortly after the pair's botched boarding resulted in the man dangling from the lift. The exposed skier was stuck for about 15 minutes before Vail personnel backed the lift up and successfully dislodged the unidentified man from the four-seat chair. In a statement released this afternoon, Vail Resorts, which operates the ski area, reported that the skier was not injured after being "suspended for approximately seven minutes." The press release did not explain how the mishap occurred, only that "the man was caught on the chair." Thanks Jim K. for the "heads up"....

Flavia Flav
While Amy and I where in Springfield, MO we fell in love with this coffee maker.. The Flavia "drink station". It makes a perfect hot cup of Hot Chocolate, Cappuccino's, Latia's, Tea's and just regular old coffee.Big props to the Hartman's.. I had a minimum of 4 cups a day!!!
