Spring Sparing

These bucks are doing a little sparing in our backyard. I'm looking forward to when these guys get some antlers.. That should make it a little more interesting.

Easter in FLA

Amy and I just got back from a trip visiting her parents in Naples, Florida. They winter in Naples and this is the first time in the 7 years we (Amy) has had the time, at that time of year, to visit them.

I typically HATE Florida, but Naples is very nice.. Clean! Well organized! Yep, I liked it...

We got in very late Thursday night.. via Ft. Lauderdale.. yes Ft. Lauderdale.. Friday, early, we went with Amy's parents (Paul & Claudia) and their friends Jim and Helen on a fishing trip.. The shady thing is that the fishing trip was a gift that Amy and her brother and sister got Paul for Christmas. Score for us....

Paul's Bird?

We had a rainy day on Saturday, but it was warm and the rain was relaxing.

Sunday we went to the beach in the old part of Naples. This area has cool shops and big old beautiful beach homes.. We also got together for brunch with good friends of Paul and Claudia. Oh, and Sunday was sunny..

Like I said, Naples is pretty nice. We got to meet Amy's parents friends. Many we have known for years and some new ones.. I just hope 30 years from now Amy and I have the energy to enjoy retirement as much as the gang we hung out with for the weekend.

Rice-A-Roni

Amy and I went to San Fransisco last week. Amy had a big "Dr" meeting so we got to see a lot of old friends. Ofcourse, I spent time with the ladys..

We did get a chance to ride a Street Car.. That was a lot of fun...
